Mandate

Who we are ... The Ontario Education Collaborative Marketplace's (OECM) mandate is to support collaborative strategic sourcing initiatives and the development of electronic marketplace solutions in conjunction with Ontario's education sector. As a not-for-profit corporation, OECM will promote the adoption of leading integrated supply chain management practices throughout Ontario's 116 publicly funded educational institutions.

Business Strategy

Our goal ... To promote and collaboratively lead supply chain initiatives in Ontario's education sector related to the:

• generation of sourcing savings and/or quality/service improvement;
• implementation of supporting operational and management technologies; and
• adoption of "best practices" and standards

OECM’s design, development and implementation are supported by the Ministry of Finance. OECM is a key enabler of the Ministry of Finance's ability to provide better stewardship of tax dollars
